Library Bibliography/County Library Book Displays-Maggie, Blasco--possibly month of Read Across America Day (March 2nd) or Month of World Book Day (April 23rd), New women's books are launched on International Women's Day in March, too.  International Literacy Day is in September, so there are options.

Erie County Historical Society-Speaker Series to possibly include Historian from Seneca Falls. Display of portrait of Helen Schurlaff, Curtze Mansion/ August 2019-August 2020 (under discussion)

The Lake Erie Fiberarts Guild, Quilt/Coverlet to Display, 18" X 18" Fabric Squares to be Sewn Together, Design to Reflect the Theme of this Community Celebration of Women's Suffrage and the Culture of Women/ Finished Quilt for Community Display 

Many more ideas are in the works.  This proposed calendar will be updated regularly. Any organization wanting to join this community project is welcome to do so, with our calendar participation cut off date being Friday, May 17th.  Email the League of Women Voters of Erie County at . All community partners assume responsibility for planning and hosting their event, providing a contact person, event name, date and venue.  The Steering Committee will make the calendar known to the public.
