SUFFRAGETTE RIDE / SLOW ROLL

This year’s LECF Slow Roll will pay tribute to the 100th Anniversary of the Suffragette Movement, Celebrations through August 2020

Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper will serve as Grand Marshall leading a group of bicycle riders wearing period attire departing from Perry Square at 6pm and riding past historic sites of the Suffragette Era in Erie.  The ride will culminate at the Erie Downtown Partnership Block Party in Perry Square where free bike valet services will be provided by Bike Erie.  This ride is free, but registration through the LECF website is required.

EFAG offers a unique mobile exhibit of a quilt created by member of the guild.  Each 

square is designed by a different artist with their own interpretation of  the meaning

of the historic anniversary commemoration, "Votes for Women"

Sterling Silver commemorative "Votes For Women" anniversary bracelets are being

sold by the Women's Club of Erie and the League of Women Voters Erie County Chapter.  The bracelets were created by Jennifer Reed, jewelry artist, proprietor of Relish.  Contact either organization for purchase.  (Bracelets are not sold at Relish.)
